VERICUT software simulates CNC machining in order to detect errors, potential collisions, or areas of inefficiency. VERICUT enables NC programmers to correct errors before the program is ever loaded on the machine, thereby eliminating manual prove-outs. VERICUT also optimizes NC program cutting speeds for more efficient machining at our horizontal and 5th axis mills.
The ability to read 3D drawings gives Senga the ability to better understand the geometry of a part, and apply it into programming at the mill. The value of having the same tools as our customers allows us to collaborate with engineers on a design level to best strategize manufactureability and share information for process improvement.
Mastercam delivers toolpaths from its CAM software directly into Solidworks. When Senga receives a print in Solidworks, the program is uploaded into Mastercam, which converts it into a computer generated manufacturing plan. All of the tool paths are taken directly from the dimensions of the part, so it is true to the drawing.
ESPRIT's seamless CAD to CAM interface directly imports any native part model from any source, fully intact, with no need for programmers to edit or rebuild geometry. ESPRIT directly machines from any combination of geometries - solids, surfaces, wireframe, or STL - providing complete manufacturing flexibility. Senga utilizes ESPIRIT specifically for 9-axis jobs on our Okuma LT200-MY lathe that have more difficult programming requirements.
