A leading and established precision mechanical components supplier in Orange County is looking for an entry level technical sales engineer to expand business in medical device sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent college graduate that wants to excel in a career in technical sales and make a significant contribution to the company’s bottom line. This individual will be responsible for growing the medical device market share by identifying needs, qualifying leads and closing the sales.

• 2 to 3 years experience in sales or customer facing role.
• Bachelor’s in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
• Customer focused, outgoing and highly results oriented.
• Basic knowledge and aptitude in mechanical engineering.
• Self motivated, energetic with a passion to succeed in sales.
• Must be a team player, willing to learn and interested in building long term relationships with prospects and customers.

• Prospecting and researching to obtain critical marketing data.
• Enter prospecting information into SalesForce database.
• Learn the business of precision high tolerance machined parts.
• Identify and develop new accounts in medical device industry.
• Work with the business development  manager to develop and implement  sales plans.
• Work with order administration to develop quote.
• Serve on continuous improvement teams and as an internal auditor.
• Work trade shows, booths, or other marketing efforts.
• Work with business development manager to track customer satisfaction; work with manufacturing and order administration to solve customer-related problems.
• Perform other duties when needed.
