At Senga, we separate our manufacturing into two departments: Milling and Turning. Each side has a work-flow, from programming to shipping that can be autonomous or connected given the nature of the parts being submitted for processing. Not all parts are single operation parts, but a blend of turned and milled ops.
Senga Engineering uses state-of-the-art CNC technology enabling us to work in a wide range of materials from various plastics to titanium. We are made up of a versatile manufacturing environment of over 45 state-of-the-art CNC machine tools capable of meeting the stringent demands of various industries, including Aerospace, Medical Device, Connector, Defense, and Energy. We've made the perfect match of state-of-the-art equipment with an experienced, conscientious staff who are constantly in school undergoing an ongoing process of education, certification, and cross training. It is this depth of skills and industry training that makes possible the real-time reconfiguration of manufacturing processes to suit each client’s project.
One of the keys to Senga’s manufacturing success lies in the concept of cell manufacturing; a concept that organizes workflow and equipment around specific processes, creating an efficient, self-contained production loop of tooling, equipment, and staff.
Single-point Broaching: Unique to the connector industry, Senga has the unique ability to machine/broach slots, keys, and keyways into cylindrical components of various materials from Aluminum to Titanium. Our broaching capabilities are unrivaled in controlling width and preventing taper.
