The ability to read 3D drawings gives Senga the ability to better understand the geometry of a part, and apply it into programming at the mill. The value of having the same tools as our customers allows us to callaborate with engineers on a design level to best strategize manufactureability and share information for process improvement.
Mastercam delivers toolpaths from its CAM software directly into Solidworks. When Senga recieves a print in Solidworks, the program is uploaded into Mastercam, which converts it into a computer generated manufacturing plan. All of the tool paths are taken directly from the dimesions of the part, so its is true to the drawing.
PC-DMIS CMM is the world's leading Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) Software. PC-DMIS enables you create measurement routines, execute them on the shop floor and collaborate to make decisions based on the results. Senga uses its powerful capabilities to measure everything from simple prismatic parts to the most complex aerospace and medical components. Also, PC-DMIS has the added benefit of inspecting parts using the CAD model ensuring product conformity by comparing the part directly to its original design.
ESPRIT's seamless CAD to CAM interface directly imports any native part model from any source, fully intact, with no need for programmers to edit or rebuild geometry. ESPRIT directly machines from any combination of geometries - solids, surfaces, wireframes, or STL - providing complete manufacturing flexibility. Senga utilizes ESPRIT specifically for 9-axis jobs on our Okuma LT200-MY lathe have more difficult programming requirements.
