you are simultaneously linked to all of the Approved suppliers in our supply-chain. From Cradle-To-Grave—Preproduction to full component assembly with Outside Service Support. Rather than cutting several purchase orders to have your components machined, plated, then marked, and so many other outside processes. Senga only requires one purchase order and we'll handle the rest. By shifting the responsibility to Senga, you end up purchasing ONLY GOOD PARTS. Fall-out is our responsibility; additional administrative cost becomes our responsibility; you'll reduce internal costs of inspection, scrap, administration, etc, your end costs are reduced.
We at Senga aim at providing our customers the best total value for their components, not just a machined part. We've realized over the years that companies are looking for suppliers who brings more value to the production of each component. As a result, Senga has developed a comprehensive Value-chain of companies who allow us to incorporate the following services:
Plating/ Anodizing/ Passivating/ Painting/ Masking/ Priming Etc.
Laser Etching/ Pad Printing/ Silk Screening Etc.
The Heating and Treating of parts post production
Sub assembly/ Assembly/ Packaging
Pre- Production Engineering Services
Warehouse kitting is the process of taking multiple SKUs and combining them in a package to create one new SKU. We regularly build complex kits that include up to 20 different products. Our warehouse management system accurately manages your inventory, as products morph from units to kits.
We realize we may not have the expertise to support every program opportunity. We will make a conscious effort to review your project requirements in conjunction with our value-chain to determine a fit. If a process or processes are required that we currently do not offer, we will investigate accommodating your requirements by broadening our Approved Supplier base.
One capability we have, that is quite unique for job shops, is our ability to BROACH. This capability has enabled us be a premiere supplier to many of the top connector manufacturers.
Senga’s Broaching Department is comprised of 8 NC computer controlled, single-point part shapers. These machines are custom designed to allow Senga the ability to produce keys, keyways, and slots on both ID and OD surfaces.
These machines are heavily used to support the Connector Industry in allowing us to perform the broaching requirements of receptacle shells & plug shells bringing the components to a more complete state. Over the years we’ve developed the ability to broach ID surfaces of softer metals, such as, aluminum on our turning centers, which has freed up our broaching centers to concentrate primarily on harder metals, such as stainless steel; and for OD broaching requirements, such as keys.
These machines are suited for use on a wide range of materials from engineered plastics to titanium. These machines can broach depths of up to 7/8”.
