The Fortus 450mc allows Senga to produce parts with advanced complexity and high requirements. The Fortus printing systems make it easier to efficiently and effectively produce complex parts needed for today’s manufacturers. The machine is capable of embedding hardware, circuitry, and other non-thermoplastic materials with minimal downtime for changeover. The Fortus 450 mc is enabled to produce performance materials such as the FDM Nylon 12CF (carbon fiber), ULTEM resins, and ST-130 soluble material for sacrificial composite tooling.
The 5 axis milling machine, DMU monoBLOCK, utilizes high precision technology such as comprehensive cooling measures, high-performance coolant unit, and multi-sensor compensation as standard. The machine has stiff construction with high static masses and balanced moving parts for maximum stability.
Over the course of 3 months, Senga added 3 Vertical powerhouses, Mori Seiki Duravertical 5100 CNC Milling Centers. This gave Senga additional capacity and more depth in their vertical milling department.
NMV 5000 DCG: High-precision, 5axes control vertical machining center
Senga added 5-Axis Milling to their extensive capability by procuring the NMV5000 DCG by Mori Seiki. This decision was inspired by the growing demands of the Aerospace and Medical industries. Senga recognized that adding this capability would give them a competitive advantage and open more doors for opportunity. The machine utilizes Direct Drive Motor and ORC technology to achieve high precision indexing and thermal displacement control.
The Mori Seki NH4000s are the drivers of the LPP System. The combined 480-tool storage capacity gives Senga Engineering the flexibility needed to store multiple set-up. Utilizing DCG of original technology the machine offers longer tool life, improved surface quality, and roundness, and outstanding acceleration. It has the world’s fastest rotary axis drive system to achieve high-speed rotation and high precision indexing.
The machine is specifically designed for your high volume steel components. The 6-pallet system allows us to store your set-ups, expanding our Just-In-Time delivery capability. The machine comes with a dynamic powerful spindle and high-rigidity bed. Implementing the 20-pallet Mori Seiki Manufacturing Cell allows Senga flexible customization that is suitable for multi-item production runs. The multi-level pallet racks and control system can accommodate high levels of automation and flexible responses to changes in the production plan. This allows Senga to qualify a set-up and store the pallet for consistent repeatability. Senga recognized this was a key to be successful in the more demanding industries, such as Medical and Aerospace.
