Senga adds to its extensive multi-axis CNC Lathe fleet, and increases productivity with a machine capable of performing primary and secondary operations; which allows Senga to incorporate Milling operations and reduce the number of set-ups. This allows Senga to produce more precise turned parts by consolidating operations.
The Mori Seiki NH4000s are the drivers of the LPP System. The combined 480-tool storage capacity gives Senga Engineering the flexibility needed to store multiple set-ups.
Implementing the 20-pallet Mori Seiki Manufacturing Cell allows Senga flexible customization that is suitable for multi-item production runs. This allows Senga to qualify a set-up and store the pallet for consistent repeatability. Senga recognized this was a key to be successful in the more demanding industries, such as, Medical and Aerospace.
Over the course of 3 months, Senga added 3 Vertical powerhouses, Mori Seiki Duravertical5100 CNC Milling Centers. This gave Senga additional capacity and more depth in their vertical milling department.
Focused on developing the Medical sector as a Primary market, Senga partnered with the industry leader for Vitroretinal Surgical Equipment. Senga began the qualification process for various precision components.
Senga added 5-Axis Milling to their extensive capability by procuring the NMV5000 DCG by Mori Seiki. This decision was inspired by the growing demands of the Aerospace and Medical industries. Senga recognized that adding this capability would give them a competitive advantage and open more doors for opportunity.
